Improv Community of Practice: February / Experienced

February 10 @ 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm EST

Welcome to Improv Niagara’s Community of Practice for Experienced Improvisers.

A COP is a group of people who share a passion for something they do, (improv) and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.

Register Today!

This particular COP:

  • Meets twice per month, the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month for 1.5 hours. 
  • Has open registration for the month, at the beginning of the month, for both sessions. (No admission will be permitted later in the month. Interested individuals can instead wait for the next month to register.)
  • Has a monthly fee of $20 to participate in both sessions. These funds ensure we have access to the rehearsal space.
  • Is for improvisers with over 2 years of practiced experience, either in Improv Niagara classes or an agreeable alternative.
  • Is open to improvisers who accept and want to contribute to our Vision, our Code of Conduct, who adhere to our Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Policy and who believe in What We Stand For. (All found Here.)

We share a dedication to the craft of improv, laughter and the joy of comedy, and hope you do too!

Join us for an unpredictable evening of history and hilarity! Performers from award-winning comedy troupe Improv Niagara join forces with the brilliant interpretive staff of Fort George NHS to present a one-night-only showcase of muskets, music, and mishaps! Enjoy a series of completely improvised short comedic plays set in the era of the War of 1812, live and at historic Navy Hall. You won’t want to miss this exciting, quick-witted, and historically accurate (we hope) adventure back in time.

This show is in that sweet spot between Christmas and New Years, so come on out in your comfies, grab a tasty drink or treat from Mahtay Café’s bar or bakery and let’s spend a bit of time this holiday season having some laughs.
