Simon Calaycay

Simon discovered a love for improv when he nerdily signed up for an “Improv for Communication” workshop to help his divided student council. He laughed his way through The Making-Box’s curriculum in Guelph, and embarked on his current journey to become an instructor. He was part of a troupe comprised of The Making-Box students and alumni before moving to the Niagara Region to be closer to family. He hopes to one day make the skills found in improv indispensable to managing teams. In the meantime, he’s honing his craft to bring more funny into the region.

Max Whitworth

Max Whitworth is a human male between the ages of 25-35 with brown hair and two eyes. He has been attempting both comedy and regular, garden-variety film acting for a number of years, and while he has been heard claiming that he is ‘all that’, no confirmation from peers could be attained, and thus this is left entirely to speculation. His favourite hobbies include writing, singing, playing pretend for fun and profit, and [REDACTED]. While he has been noted to be ‘marginal’ and ‘largely okay with minor caveats’, he is still somewhat approachable and actually has kissed a girl before, despite what you may think. Google it.

Aaron Boyd

Aaron first fell in love with improv in high school, and it was a big part of his decision to study theatre at York University, where he received his BFA. Around that time he and a few buddies decided to form a sketch comedy group, and produced several original productions at the Summerworks and Fringe festivals, for which Aaron was director and stage-manager. Recently a friend convinced him to attend an Improv Niagara workshop, reigniting his love of the form, and he has decided it is his turn to take the stage!

Heather Eyman

Heather is pumped to perform with Improv Niagara. Her love for all things improv, comedy, and theatre began in high school while having a blast directing and performing in school plays. Heather was voted ‘Class Clown’ of her graduating class, which is probably one of her proudest accomplishments. Not so long ago, Heather took the leap to sign up for an Improv Niagara class and hasn’t looked back. She’s thrilled to take the stage with this incredible and hilarious cast.

Bradley Doyle

Bradley is  returning to improv with a vengeance, baby! He was a part of Improv Niagara’s very first set of shows, and has been working with founding member Dina Senior on all things theatre for almost 9 years! Most recently, he could be seen brainless and falling all over the stage as “Scarecrow” in Port Colborne Operatic Society’s production of “Wizard of Oz”. Previous credits include working on stage and behind it at Canalside Players, Thorold Community Theatre, and Cabar-eh Youth Theatre. Bradley studied drama and dance at Centennial Secondary School, where he earned two Niagara Cappie awards for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
