Monday April 11th 2019 – WELLAND, ON. Improv Niagara, the Niagara-based improv comedy ensemble are happy to announce the opening of their improv studio, for which they will be holding a Grand Opening event on Saturday May 4th 2019 from 12pm – 4pm. The studio is located at 411 East Main Street, Unit #205 in what was formerly Welland’s City Hall.
From 12pm – 4pm, the public are invited to visit the studio, take part in a short improv workshop, and watch the Improv Niagara Players perform improv games, similar to those seen on the popular TV show “Whose Line is it Anyway?”
The studio will be used for comedy workshops, jams and shows. The timings for these will roll out over the next few weeks as IN begins to open their organization to more public training in areas such as improv, sketch and stand-up comedy.
Those interested in signing up for workshops, participating in jams, or attending shows are encouraged to keep an eye on IN’s website and social media pages for the most up-to-date information.
